Thank you for the suggestion for locating a set of Hafen's Mountain Men and the Fur Trade. A set is probably not unfairly priced at $1500, but it is a bit out of reach. Fortunately our library has a set. Scanning this valuable resource into a web page is indeed a worthy endeavor for a library specializing in this issue.
